At Seamon Park in Saugerties, N.Y. there are beautiful Chrysanthemums 

growing and every October we celebrate by having our Mum Bowl, the JV Football

Team play their hearts out!  At halftime we have a special show which the cheerleaders

perform for our entertainment.  After their performance we proudly watch the exhilarating

event leading to the crowning of our new Mum Queen for the current year.

Later that evening there is a Mum Ball at our High School for the 

Juniors and Seniors I do believe *smiles* The next day is Saugerties' Mum parade!

more information on these fun events.  If you are in the city and want to spend a weekend away drive North,  We are only 100 miles from Manhattan off of exit 20 on the N.Y.S. Thruway.

My grandson Matthew Ryan was 26 yesterday, we celebrated his Birthday today, I still see him as a little guy who I could never get enough of.  Matty made dinner for all of us at his Mothers house, chicken parm and penne pasta done to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful dinner Matty!

Have some delicious Baked Ziti stuffed with lots of ricotta, Italian sweet sausage and mozzarella!

Hey everyone, our Town High School Football team The Sawyers are doing fantastic, they are UNDEFEATED as of this writing and I am very proud to write about it as these young guys have worked so hard to become the winners that they are. My grandson Christian has been playing since 7th grade, he is now in 11th and he is # 88 just in case you go to one of the games you will see him there. You may even see me! *Smiles*
