At Seamon Park in Saugerties, N.Y. there are beautiful Chrysanthemums
growing and every October we celebrate by having our Mum Bowl, the JV Football
Team play their hearts out! At halftime we have a special show which the cheerleaders
perform for our entertainment. After their performance we proudly watch the exhilarating
event leading to the crowning of our new Mum Queen for the current year.
Later that evening there is a Mum Ball at our High School for the
Juniors and Seniors I do believe *smiles* The next day is Saugerties' Mum parade!
So if you Google Seamon Park in Saugerties, N.Y. you can see more pictures and get
more information on these fun events. If you are in the city and want to spend a weekend away drive North, We are only 100 miles from Manhattan off of exit 20 on the N.Y.S. Thruway.

Dedicated to my husband Kurt W. Schaal
My true love is sleeping so far from my home yet in the distance I
feel him caressing my flesh and my bone.
If I could fly in his arms I would be, as he whispers my name on
his breath. He would tangle me up like a vine on a tree, I will love
him in life and in death.
Many young years have we spent in the past, glistening love
was our tale. We held on so tight till we entered the light, and our
future was set on a sail.
The mystery of us is not hard to understand, for our path was a
glorious plan. This is a tale of love strong and true, the love of
a woman and man.
We are lovers of beauty and our beauty can be seen in the wind of
the whispering willow. My breath can be felt on his succulent lips as we lie face to face on my pillow.
We were lovers before, we are loves evermore, we'll be lovers through time and again.
I love you my love with a heart strong and true, we are lovers and you are my friend.

We lost our nephew Anthony J. Troiano a little over 3 years ago. It was one of the saddest days in my life, His mother, my sister in law Char was with him and she took me in with her to his room. We held hands and prayed over him as he expired from this world and left for another. What a sweet & gentle man Anthony was. He passed at just 36 years.
To Anthony and to my niece, my brother Claude and his wife Kittie's daughter Kimberly Ann Troiano Brooks who also passed at age 36, I can't wait till the day we all dance in Heaven.

In Loving Memory of my Brother Anthony C. Troiano
Anthony, young brother close in age we felt like twins in a sense. Some times were awesome, others were tense, both of us stubborn both of us dense.
Years apart would bring us to wrought till the day when we talked maybe in thought. Our eyes filled with tears and the promise to love made each of us happy and we never more fought.
Brother and sister paper and pen, many a letter till I saw him again. I felt his love by each word in his lines, he felt my love by my silence at times.
Laughing and crying about silly things brought he and I closer in the song we would sing. Playing with dolls and robots and stuff made him a sissy and I was called rough.
But he wanted family and I wanted friends and I had the family and he had a friend. It was all good and then in the end Our lord came to take him and I'm left to mend!
So this a song I sing to my love, my beautiful brother in heaven above. In wisdom I've grown and in heart I have too, I see things so clear with so little to fear.
Mothers and Fathers, sisters and bro's we could each write a book on the things that we know. Keeping my faith is important to me, loving and living to be the best I could be.
If we all took our troubles and gave them away we might want them back after only a day. Only God knows what our future will be so don't be too eager to get there you see.
Your youth will give way to an elderly day and you may have to fight to keep wars at bay. Your children and theirs are the light of your life so teach them to love with all of their might.
