Pets
I love you so, my only children, though not of human form.
You gave me love I gave it too, there was a reason you were born.
In passing are the memories and all of them are good.
And in my heart you'll always be, my little pets that could.
I'll sing to you a silent song, and love you till I die, my loving pets,
I'll cherish you, now never will you cry.
For pain is gone and peaceful sleep is all that you now know
and in my heart I'll keep a light and ever let it glow.
